The Divining Rod: Art Therapy Online

These sessions are 6 weeks on Thursdays 6-8 PM EST.   Check other dates/times for options

Join Art Therapist Micah Goguen as we look at themes, tools and exercises around addressing Spiritual Dryness. During times of change and difficulty, coping and maintaining a sense of connection can be difficult. In these sessions, we will look at developing distress tolerance skills, practicing guided mediation and mindfulness and fostering and developing connection with other participants. There are six weeks of interactive class with a "gentleness break" halfway through in which you will be emailed a recorded session to follow along and journal your state of being.

Each week will include:

• Introduction to a theme
• Guided Mediation
• Art Directive
• Group Sharing

Art Therapy in this course is more focused on process and the interaction with the materials. It is not product based and therefor requires no previous knowledge or skill.

A full kit of art materials will be mailed to you with everything you need to participate each week.

The Art Therapy kit includes:

• GOLDEN acrylics (several varieties)
• Ampersand Art panels (several varieties)
• GelPress gel plate
• SilverBrush Silverwhite brushes
• Strathmore Mixed Media Cards
• QoR Watercolors
• GOLDEN texture pastes

Group is limited to 12 spaces to provide intimate sharing and insight opportunities. Please RSVP by paying at the link below. I will reach out via email after registration for shipping information. You can email any questions about the course to [email protected]
