Texture Sampler

This workshop is Sat and Sun Sept 26th and 27th from 10am-12 noon. In this workshop, we will explore a variety of textures as you create your own sample board. You may use this board as a reference to create many new and exciting works in future classes or at home on your own. We will be using GOLDEN texture pastes and gels with a variety of other methods to create our texture panel. You will be given samples of Ampersand Gessobord to create your own unique piece based off of your favorite technique. This "mini art" will be transformed into a magnet for your fridge. The student will walk away with a completed sample board that shows a variety of texture, how it interacts with color and also with varnish. You will also leave with a completed mini work. If you are attending this workshop in person, you must wear a mask and each person will have their own work table. If you are attending online, you will be emailed a recording and mailed a kit. Please RSVP by paying at the link below. All materials are included when attending in person. Pastes, gels and a few colors will be provided if working from home.
