Mixed Media Songbirds

This workshop is 6-8pm

Join artist Micah Goguen as we enjoy an evening of collaging, glazing and layering as we work on mixed media songbirds. We will be working on a new Ampersand panel. (The Unprimed Cradled Basswood Panel) No drawing experience is required. In this workshop, we will choose one of 3 bird images and collage the entire black and white images to the panel. We will then select color combinations using Fluid acrylics to glaze and colorize the image. We then will layer with stencil application and pastes and gels for layers. This is a perfect class for the new comer and beginner yet also offers something new for those with experience. All materials are included. We will be working on an 8 x 8 cradled panel and embellishing the edges with texture and stencils as well.

$50 covers all the costs and includes materials.
