Practical Application w/ Dry Media: Charcoal, Pastel and Pan Pastels

Join artist Micah Goguen as we explore drawing and blending with Dry Media such as charcoal, soft pastel and pan pastel. Guests will have modules that they can create to build on their learning and advance in the topics they want to explore. It is helpful if you took the workshop but not required. You can also reach out with any questions as far as planning your sessions and asking for suggestions as far as tasks for the class. I have worked with or know most people taking the course so I feel like I can make good suggestions to boost your learning. I have a variety of exercises preplanned and you can move through as many as you can during the sessions with my support. All materials are included. You do not need previous experience, just a desire to learn. You can use the drop down menu below to pre pay for the number of sessions you plan to attend. You can reach out to me and let me know the dates if you aren't able to attend them all.

Guests will learn and work with types of surfaces and paper, value, how to blend and mix color, fixing, storing and framing these types of work. We will use a variety of tools and product to show you the range within the media.
